Morten Olsen has called an end to his 15-year spell as Denmark head coach after his team failed to qualify for next summer's European Championships.
The 66-year-old witnessed his side lose a place in the finals to Sweden following Tuesday night's 2-2 draw, resulting in a 4-3 defeat on aggregate.
Olsen, who become Denmark head coach two years after leaving Ajax, had previously stated that he would resign from his post after Euro 2016.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic caused the demise of Denmark's campaign as he scored twice in the second leg to send Sweden through.
