Derby have completed the signing of defender Richard Keogh from Coventry for an undisclosed fee.
The 25-year-old has attracted a whole host of interest from rival clubs following the Sky Blues' relegation to League One last season.
Despite being offered a new deal with just 12 months remaining on his current contract, Keogh highlighted his ambition to play second-tier football, leading to Coventry cashing in.
Derby boss Nigel Clough told the club's official website: "Everyone knows we have been looking to strengthen the central defensive area of the team,
"We believe Richard fits the bill in every respect, so we're delighted to get one of our top targets on board."
Keogh spent two years at the Ricoh Arena after joining in 2010 from Carlisle.
