Doncaster Rovers hold a two-goal lead over 10-man Charlton Athletic at the break in their Championship clash.
The visitors started the game well as skipper Johnnie Jackson picked up the ball in midfield, drove forward and shot from 30 yards, but his effort sailed well over the crossbar.
The home side responded to this threat soon after. Jackson was disposed in midfield and Billy Sharp tried a shot at goal from the edge of the area, but Michael Morrison did well to get across to block his goal-bound effort.
Doncaster took the lead in the 26th minute when a corner was whipped into the area and after a scramble in the six-yard box, Abdoulaye Meite was there to poke the ball into the net past Ben Alnwick.
Matters got worse for Charlton when Paul Dickov's side doubled their lead and the Addicks were reduced to 10 men. Lawrie Wilson brought Sharp down in the penalty area and was duly dismissed, and Chris Brown slotted the spot kick past Alnwick.
