Doncaster Rovers manager Paul Dickov has criticised the way the referee dealt with his side's match at Charlton Athletic.
The game at The Valley was abandoned at half time with Rovers 3-1 up, despite continuing after a 15-minute suspension in the middle of the first half.
The Doncaster manager believes that the game could have continued despite the bad weather and was pleased with his players' display.
"For the referee to pull the players off and suspend play when he did was disappointing," Dickov told reporters. "The fourth official told us 15 minutes before play was suspended the referee was monitoring the pitch, it was no worse after 15 minutes.
"I think the referee should have let it go as long as he could have until half time and made the decision then.
"He said 'as a spectacle, it's getting ruined'. I thought as a spectacle my team was fantastic, we passed the ball very well."
Paul Keegan was sent off during the match after scoring the opening goal, and Dickov is unsure whether the card will stand.
