Doncaster Rovers manager Paul Dickov has praised his players for picking up "a big three points" against Sheffield Wednesday in the Championship.
Donny, who stretched their unbeaten run to four games with the 1-0 victory, move eight points clear of the relegation zone.
Chris Brown's close-range goal in the first half secured the points, while James Coppinger also put in an impressive performance at the Keepmoat Stadium.
"It's a big three points. I'm delighted with the clean sheet too," Dickov told reporters following the game. "It's a goal [Brown] deserves.
"For all the hard work he does, he deserves a tap in. [Coppinger] is a good professional; he was sensational again today. He's got it all."
Rovers are back in action on Tuesday night when they face Burnley.
