Doncaster Rovers suffered another defeat as they were beaten 2-1 by Burnley in the Championship on Monday.
The first real chance of the afternoon fell to Burnley after five minutes when Ross Wallace struck from distance, but it drifted wide.
Chris McCann was next to come close after 23 minutes, with the home side struggling to stem the flow of pressure.
Burnley eventually moved ahead after 36 minutes when Josh McQuoid found the net from close range.
Doncaster were level five minutes into the second period, however, when Chris Brown headed a James Coppinger cross into the net.
Brown twice came close with efforts after 70 minutes but was denied by Lee Grant, before Doncaster stopper Gary Woods denied Danny Ings.
Burnley did move into the lead, however, after 76 minutes when Charlie Austin dispatched a penalty after Adam Lockwood had felled Ings in the area.
The result leaves Burnley in 12th spot in the Championship, while Doncaster remain bottom.
