Doncaster Rovers have ended a run of five games without a win by beating Huddersfield Town 2-0 in their Championship meeting this afternoon.
The visitors had an early chance when Oliver Norwood's long-range effort deflected into the path of Nahki Wells, but he volleyed wide from a tight angle.
Billy Sharp gave Doncaster the lead in the 28th minute when he got on the end of Gabriel Tamas's header to nod the ball in from close range.
David Cotterill came close to doubling his team's advantage, but after cutting inside, he fired wide of the post.
At the end of the half the visitors had a great chance to equalise, but Paul Keegan headed Anthony Gerrard's attempt off the line.
Ten minutes into the second half Doncaster doubled their lead, as Mark Duffy played the ball into the path of Cotterill to slide an effort into the net.
Sharp came close to adding a third, but the keeper kept out his near post attempt, as the home side ran out comfortable winners.
