Struggling Championship side Doncaster Rovers are reportedly close to signing free agents Mahamadou Diarra and El-Hadji Diouf.
Negotiations with ex-Real Madrid midfielder Diarra began earlier this month, while the chase for striker Diouf began in September.
"I have spoken again to Dioufy and Mahamadou," said Doncaster boss Dean Saunders. "We need to get some new men into the side quickly."
It is believed that both players will sign short-term deals with the club.
Doncaster are currently second-from-bottom in the Championship table with eight points from 13 games.
