Dundee manager John Brown has been issued with a notice of complaint from the Scottish Football Association over comments he made about a match official.
The Dark Blues boss was critical of referee Alan Muir over his decision to award Aberdeen a penalty in the 1-1 draw between the two sides, a result which relegated Dundee.
Brown has now been cited for "making comments in a media interview that criticise a decision and the performance of the match officials in such a way as to indicate incompetence".
However, Aberdeen midfielder Peter Pawlett was later hit with a two-match ban for simulation when the penalty kick was awarded.
Brown has stated that he will resign if the SFA take action against him, according to Sky Sports News.
