Eintracht Braunschweig head coach Torsten Lieberknecht has signed a contract extension with the club and will now remain at the helm until the summer of 2017.
Lieberknecht, whose side are currently bottom of the Bundesliga, said he was delighted that Braunschweig have shown so much faith in him and that he wanted the team to become regulars in the top flight.
"It's a mark of confidence and I'm delighted," he told Bundesliga.com. "I identify 1000% with this city and this team. The goal is to establish ourselves at the top in the coming years."
Braunschweig take on Borussia Monchengladbach on Saturday.
