Jake Forster-Caskey hoping for "special" Amex run-out

Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder Jake Forster-Caskey says that representing England Under-21s on his club's home ground would be a moment he will never forget.

Jake Forster-Caskey has admitted that he is eager to earn a starting spot in the England Under-21s side for Monday evening's meeting with Switzerland Under-21s.

The Young Lions will be looking to return to winning ways in U21 Euro 2017 qualifying when they host La Nati at Brighton & Hove Albion's Amex Stadium home.

Forster-Caskey believes that it could be a "special" occasion for both himself and his family should he be selected, having spent eight years as part of the Seagulls' setup.

Speaking to the FA's official website, the midfielder said: "I've had quite a few requests for tickets, so I'll have a few there. Even some of the players here [at Brighton] have asked me for tickets too, which is strange because I thought they'd just be allowed in the stadium!

"It'll be a moment to remember and hopefully I can do that at The Amex because it would be a special one, not only for myself but for family and friends."

England are currently locked level on points with opponents Switzerland heading into the match after being held to a goalless draw by Bosnia-Herzegovina earlier this week.
