Wayne Rooney: 'Estonia difficult to break down'

England captain Wayne Rooney believes that the Three Lions will be taking on a "well-organised" Estonia side in their Euro 2016 qualifier in Tallinn on Sunday.

Wayne Rooney has said that he is expecting Estonia to be "well-organised" in their Euro 2016 qualifier against England later today.

Roy Hodgson's side have taken maximum points from their first two matches in Group E, and face a side 63 places below them in FIFA's world rankings this evening.

The captain told the Football Association's website: "Estonia are a difficult team to play against, they are well-organised, they'll get bodies behind the ball and make it difficult for us to break them down. We experience that quite often now in international football and we'll be well-prepared for their style of play.

"I'm sure it'll be a similar game [against Estonia], they will sit back and try to frustrate us, although not as much as it was against San Marino. I think Estonia will be a little bit more ambitious when they get the ball.

"We know it will be a tough game, we believe in ourselves and if we play the way we want to with the flair and the pace we have in the team we'll do well. You always want to win the games and be top of the group, and we are at the moment. But this is a big game and after the results on Thursday night if we go into this one and get the three points we'll be in a great position going into the games next month."

Estonia have never qualified for the European Championships since gaining independence from the USSR.
