The Football Association have confirmed that England will take on Sweden in an international friendly on Tuesday, November 15.
The fixture will be used as preparation for the Euro 2012 finals, after the Three Lions cemented their place in next summer's competition with a 2-2 draw against Montenegro last Friday.
Fabio Capello is expected to rest Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney after he was given a three-match suspension in the tournament.
England's Swedish opponents claimed a spot in the European Championships as runners-up of their group.
The two sides have faced off 21 times with an even record of six victories.
