Nathaniel Clyne has admitted that he is "buzzing" at the thought of being handed his first England cap.
The Southampton right-back was called up by manager Roy Hodgson for the second time ahead of this weekend's Euro 2016 qualifier against Slovenia and the friendly meeting with Scotland at Celtic Park three days later.
Clyne has yet to represent his country at senior level, although his impressive form with the Saints could see him rewarded with a start this week.
"It's a good feeling for me to be here," BT Sport quotes Clyne as saying. "I'm buzzing. It's a great achievement. I'm buzzing, my family are buzzing and my friends are buzzing. I'm just looking forward to my first cap."
Clyne has featured 14 times for Southampton in all competitions this season, scoring on two occasions.
