England are eyeing a friendly with the Republic of Ireland ahead of the European Championships this summer.
Club England managing director Adrian Bevington confirmed on Saturday that the Three Lions will play two friendlies at the end of the domestic season.
Fabio Capello's side are apparently planning a home friendly at Wembley and a possible trip to Dublin.
The nations looked on in anticipation yesterday at the draw for the tournament, with the possibility that they could be pitted against each other in the same group.
However that was not to be the case as England were drawn in Group D and Ireland in Group C, alongside current holders and world champions Spain.
