England captain Steven Gerrard has admitted that Danny Welbeck's suspension is a blow ahead of next week's World Cup qualifier against Ukraine.
The striker picked up his second yellow card of the campaign on Friday for kicking the ball away during the Three Lions' emphatic win over Moldova.
"We're going to miss him," Gerrard is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News. "He's a big player for us now and you have seen his performance after getting the yellow card, going on and getting a couple of goals and he played really well.
"He will be missed on Tuesday, even more so because of the injuries we've got, but we have to take it on the chin and roll our sleeves up and take the responsibility."
