England boss Roy Hodgson has confirmed that Ashley Cole will win his 100th cap against Brazil on Wednesday.
It had been suggested that the Chelsea defender would be omitted from the team in favour of Everton's Leighton Baines, but Hodgson has revealed that the 32-year-old will start at Wembley.
"Everyone has trained today, so we are all set for tomorrow. Ashley Cole will start tomorrow, I think it is important. He will start the game, but then I will see what I have to do with Leighton Baines, they are both exceptional players," he told reporters at a press conference.
Hodgson also confirmed that he will play his strongest available side as England attempt to beat Brazil for the first time in 23 years.
