England manager Roy Hodgson has insisted that his side deserved their 2-1 friendly win over Brazil on Wednesday night.
Frank Lampard scored the winning goal at Wembley Stadium as the home side defeated their opponents for the first time since 1990.
"It's my first crack at Brazil as a manager and I'm delighted to have been able to oversee a victory," Hodgson told reporters.
"It was an all-round performance from the team, there were some very, very good moments and I thought we were good value for two goals to one."
England continue their World Cup qualifying campaign on March 22 when they make the trip to San Marino.
