England manager Roy Hodgson has insisted that he has no concerns over the state of the pitch ahead of tomorrow's World Cup qualifier against Montenegro.
Podgorica, where the match will take place, has been hit by heavy rain and thunderstorms today, and more of the same is forecast for tomorrow.
England have already suffered a postponement due to bad weather during this season's World Cup qualifying campaign - against Poland in October last year - but Hodgson revealed that he was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the pitch considering the conditions.
"I was quite surprised," he said. "It was in very good condition. We have no worries in that respect."
England currently sit two points behind group leaders Montenegro, but would leapfrog their opponents into top spot with a win tomorrow night.
