England caretaker manager Stuart Pearce has admitted that he has "tinkered" with some of the dates set by former boss Fabio Capello in the run-up to this summer's European Championships.
'Psycho' is believed to have cut short the time players were expected to attend a pre-Euro 2012 training camp in Spain, with Capello wanting the squad to fly out directly after the Champions League final on May 19.
"I just tinkered with a couple of dates and amended them," said Pearce.
"I felt the rest and recuperation of the players to allow them to freshen up was really important.
"Now, all the players either know, or will get informed very shortly about the whole summer's preparation."
"If I was them I would like to know, even if I only had an outside chance, when I can book a holiday with my wife at the end of the season.
Pearce lost his first game in charge 3-2 to the Netherlands on Wednesday.
