England international striker Jermain Defoe was pleased with his side's 5-0 victory over Moldova in their opening game of the 2014 World Cup qualifying campaign on Friday.
Defoe scored the Three Lions' third goal at Stadionul Zimbru in Chisinau in what was his 50th appearance for his country.
"The movement was good," he told Sky Sports News. "We had a good training week - we've worked on certain movements in training.
"And everything the manager (Roy Hodgson) wanted in training we've done it tonight so it was good.
"I thought the lads did fantastic tonight. Leighton Baines came in and got his goal. I thought he was fantastic as well. But the overall performance - everyone has played their part."
England are back in action on Tuesday when they host Ukraine at London's Wembley Stadium in their second Group H fixture.
