Paolo Di Canio has predicted that England will find it difficult to qualify for the knockout stages at the World Cup.
Roy Hodgson's side face a tricky task against Italy, Uruguay and Costa Rica in Group D, and Di Canio believes that a lack of quality in the squad will become obvious in Brazil.
"England have freshness and youth, but it will be difficult for them to get past the first round," the former Sunderland manager is quoted as saying by the Daily Star.
"They are not capable of managing themselves. To perform at their best they always have to put in 200% effort.
"The England squad lacks depth. Their reserves are not up to standard, and the players are tired."
