Steven Gerrard has said that England will be "raring to go" when they take on Italy in their opening group match of this summer's World Cup.
The Three Lions warmed up for the tournament with a 3-0 win over Peru at Wembley, with Daniel Sturridge, Gary Cahill and Phil Jagielka all finding the back of the net.
They begin their World Cup campaign against the Italians in Manaus on June 14 and Gerrard is confident that the team will be able to find their best form.
"Against Italy we will all be raring to go," he told BBC Radio 5 live.
"Hopefully we can put in a top performance and I am confident we can do that. The important thing is we are all ready to peak in 10 days' time."
England will play two friendlies against Ecuador and Honduras in Miami next week before their clash against Italy.
