England manager Roy Hodgson has dismissed speculation that captain Steven Gerrard has picked up an injury.
It was reported that having taken only a minimal part in yesterday's training session, the midfielder was seen to be limping.
However, Hodgson has insisted that because Gerrard featured in the 0-0 draw with Honduras on Saturday night, he was only ever due to take part in a warm-down along with his teammates that also played in that Miami friendly.
"I don't understand the Steven Gerrard one. There's absolutely nothing wrong with him so I don't understand that story at all," he told reporters.
Gerrard is expected to lead the Three Lions out in their World Cup opener against Italy this Saturday.
