England midfielder Frank Lampard has said that it is too soon to say whether or not he will retire from international duty upon returning from the World Cup.
The 36-year-old captained the Three Lions to their first point of the tournament in this evening's 0-0 draw with Costa Rica in what was their final game of the competition.
When asked about his England future, the Chelsea ace told ITV Sport: "I don't know. I really enjoyed being involved and I love playing for my country, that's obvious. I am 36 and still doing it.
"I feel fresh. If I feel I can offer something I will do but at the moment it is too soon to say."
Lampard made his senior England debut back in 1999.
