Ex-Tottenham Hotspur striker Gary Lineker has said that England manager Roy Hodgson faces a dilemma over what to do with Wayne Rooney at this summer's World Cup in Brazil.
Rooney put in a below-par performance in his team's 3-0 victory against Peru on Friday, and Lineker believes his place in the side is under threat.
Posting on his official Twitter account, Lineker said: "What does Roy do with Rooney?
"Now Sturridge is lead striker, where does he play him - if at all? [It's a] good problem [to have].
"[It's] worth remembering that this was Rooney's first game for a while. He's scored bags of goals for England and can play out of a customary position."
Rooney was making his return from injury against Peru having not played for a month due to a groin problem.
