Everton midfielder Leon Osman has insisted that he would be "delighted" with an England recall ahead of next year's World Cup.
The 32-year-old scored in the Toffees' 2-0 win over Aston Villa on Saturday while England boss Roy Hodgson was watching in the crowd.
"I didn't know Roy Hodgson was here," Osman told Everton TV. "I was concentrating on the match. Obviously, I'm English and I'm still wanting to play. If the call came I'd be delighted, but I'm not going to get too carried away with things that aren't taking place on the pitch."
Osman currently has two international caps to his name.
