England winger Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has returned to training ahead of the World Cup fixture with Uruguay on Thursday evening.
The Arsenal midfielder's participation in the tournament was put in some doubt after he suffering a knee injury in a friendly with Ecuador, but three days before England's second World Cup fixture with Uruguay, the 20-year-old was seen taking part in a training session with his teammates.
Oxlade-Chamberlain soon left the main session to undergo some individual drills, but his appearance will provide England with a boost as they look to retain hope of qualifying for the second round.
Roy Hodgson's side fell to a 2-1 defeat to Italy in Manaus on Saturday evening.
