Former England forward Alan Shearer has branded the third-place playoff match at the World Cup "utter stupidity".
As the two losing semi-finalists at the 2018 World Cup, Belgium and England will lock horns on Saturday afternoon to determine which team finishes third in this summer's competition.
Pundit Shearer, however, has claimed that the fixture is the "last thing any player wants".
England saw their journey in the competition end when they lost 2-1 to Croatia in Moscow on Wednesday night.
Belgium, meanwhile, were knocked out in the semi-finals by France 24 hours earlier, with Samuel Umtiti's second-half header deciding the contest.
