Felipe Caicedo scored in second-half injury time to salvage a 1-1 draw for Espanyol in their La Liga clash against Granada at the Estadi Cornella-El Prat.
The hosts were first to register a chance when Marco Asensio met a cross in the box five minutes in and found some space for a shot, but the effort was inaccurate and flew wide of the right post.
On the quarter-hour mark Jean-Sylvain Babin rose above the opposition defence to head towards goal but the effort, directed to the top-right corner, was saved by Espanyol goalkeeper Lopez Sabata Pau.
Granada went on to take the lead just before the hour through Babin, who peeled away from his marker to head home from Piti's cross.
Espanyol rallied round and weighed in with a number of chances against the hosts and were rewarded in the fourth minute of injury time through Caicedo, who got to the ball after a big mistake by the defender and sent a precise shot into the bottom-left corner.
The result sees Espanyol climb to ninth place in the La Liga table, while Granada sit two points from safety in 19th place.
