Manuel Neuer will reportedly consider retirement from international football following the completion of the UEFA Euro 2020 finals.
The Bayern Munich keeper has held the gloves for Die Mannschaft since 2009, making a total of 90 appearances for his country.
Neuer has been recently involved in a public spat with deputy Germany keeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen - one fuelled by competition for the top spot under Joachim Low.
According to Sport Bild, Neuer could make a difficult decision easy by opting to retire after Euro 2020.
Ter Stegen, who is first choice at Barcelona, declared that he was unhappy with being sidelined for Germany's 2-0 win in Northern Ireland last month.
The 33-year-old responded by declaring that the welfare of the team came first, indicating that he felt as if Ter Stegen was damaging team spirit.
