Gareth Barry has insisted that Everton are capable of winning the Europa League as they prepare for the second leg of their last-32 tie against Young Boys.
The Toffees already have one foot in the next round as they take a 4-1 lead into Thursday's match at Goodison Park thanks to Romelu Lukaku's hat-trick in Switzerland.
Former England midfielder Barry thinks that Everton can go all the way and secure the Champions League spot that seems to be beyond them via a Premier League finish.
"Winning the Europa League is our target. If we win it then we will go into the Champions League so it's a massive target," he told a Wednesday press conference.
"We've shown we are more than capable of going all the way. We have shown we can compete against the best in Europe. We know on our day we can beat anyone."
Barry, 34, has made 31 appearances for Everton this season, including six in their Europa League campaign.
