Yerry Mina is reportedly close to being able to make his return to Everton from injury.

The Colombian international has been out of action since the Toffees played Manchester United at the start of October, having missed every game from then.

After that point, the squad have only kept one clean sheet and the club have not won a game during that period, which has seen them slip down to 11th in the table.

However, according to a report from The Athletic, the central defender could be set to make his return from injury in the near future, providing Rafael Benitez with another option.

The club have suffered heavily from injuries as of late and Demarai Gray became the latest to suffer a problem after he had to be substituted against Manchester City.

The Toffees will be back in action next weekend when they face Brentford, which could now see Mina slot back into the defence.
