Roberto Martinez has insisted that there are no concerns about the knock picked up by John Stones in Everton's 2-1 victory over Reading in the League Cup.
Stones was removed in the early stages of the second half at the Madejski Stadium after the England international injured his knee, but Martinez is confident that he will be back to full fitness soon.
"John was withdrawn as a precaution more than anything. He had a knock in his knee and we couldn't take any risks," the Toffees boss told reporters.
"He will be assessed over the next 48 hours but I don't think it's serious."
Stones now faces a race to be fit for Monday's meeting with West Bromwich Albion.
