Gerard Deulofeu has paid tribute to his partnership with Romelu Lukaku following Everton's 2-0 win over Middlesbrough in the quarter-finals of the League Cup.
The young Spaniard scored the first goal before teeing up Lukaku for the second as Everton reached the last four of the competition for the first time since 2007-08.
After the final whistle, Deulofeu told BBC Sport that it is "easy" to play alongside the Belgian attacker.
He said: "Playing with Romelu Lukaku is easy for me. I am so happy to reach the next round and want to keep going.
"Against Bournemouth on Saturday it was disappointing because it was a game we should have won, but this is a good moment and we need to keep going for more."
Lukaku has now scored in five consecutive matches, while Deulofeu's goal at the Riverside Stadium was his third strike of the campaign.
