Everton manager Roberto Martinez has claimed that his team will not be feeling pressure in tonight's Capital One Cup quarter-final against Middlesbrough.
The Merseyside outfit, who have never won this tournament, are favourites to progress into the semi-finals as they take on Championship opposition at the Riverside.
"We do not want to hide from the responsibility of representing a club like ours," Goal.com quotes Martinez as saying.
"We know we can reach some sort of history in our football club. That's the mentality we are creating and embracing that situation. I don't see that as pressure, it's the opposite."
Everton last won a trophy in 1995 when they beat Manchester United in the FA Cup final.
