Everton midfielder Gareth Barry believes that his teammate Steven Naismith deserves credit for the hard work that he puts in on the field.
The Scotland international has scored three goals in as many games for the Toffees so far this season.
"He knows his role and is a very clever player," the Liverpool Echo quotes Barry as saying.
"He is doing exactly what is asked of him and his work rate is second to none – there are not many players out there that puts in the shift he does."
The 27-year-old moved to Goodison Park from Rangers in 2012.
