Everton loanee London Donovan has revealed that Saturday's FA Cup tie with Blackpool could be his last game in a Toffees shirt.
Donovan is currently on loan from MLS side Los Angeles Galaxy and is due to return to America after the game.
The USA international is enjoying his second spell at Goodison Park and there have been rumours of a third in 2013, but Donovan says that this is just speculation and that he could be playing his last game in English football.
"It's possible this could be my last game for them. I really don't know," said Donovan.
"We'll see and if the opportunity is right, maybe, but I'm not going to force it. I wouldn't expect the manager to bring me back just because it's me, I'd only expect it if he needed to use me.
"But I've known the situation from the beginning and Galaxy didn't have to let me come. I owe them the respect of that."
Donovan, 29, has already amassed 138 caps for the USA national team, scoring 46 goals in the process.
