Everton midfielder Kevin Mirallas has said that he is pleased with his 85th-minute winner in Saturday's 2-1 victory over Aston Villa at Goodison Park.
The Toffees were forced to recover from a goal deficit en route to victory, with Steven Naisith negating Leandro Bacuna's 34th-minute opener on 74 minutes.
He told reporters: "Tonight I played as a striker, it's not my best position but I work for the team.
"It was a nice goal in the last minutes and it was important because it was a bad result against Liverpool."
Roberto Martinez's team now move to within a point of their Merseyside rivals Liverpool in fourth place in the Premier League table.
