Everton midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin has insisted that he was not sent home from training at the weekend.
A report has claimed that Schneiderlin and teammate Kevin Mirallas were asked to leave the club's training ground on Saturday due to a lack of effort, and neither player featured against Watford on Sunday afternoon.
However, Schneiderlin has dismissed the suggestions and reiterated that he remains committed to the Toffees, who he joined from Manchester United in January.
On Twitter, the 27-year-old said: "I have seen press stories today about me 'being sent away from training'. The stories are not true.
"I am fully committed to Everton and will continue to work hard for the club and the fans in training and on the pitch."
Schneiderlin has made 11 starts for Everton in all competitions this season.
