Ross Barkley will make his first start of the season for Everton in this afternoon's tie with Aston Villa at Goodison Park.
Seamus Coleman has also returned to the Everton starting XI for the first time in a month after recovering from an injury suffered in last month's 4-1 Europa League win over Wolfsburg.
Roberto Martinez has made five changes from the side that lost 2-1 to Manchester United last time around, with Antolin Alcaraz, James McCarthy and Leon Osman also returning to the team.
The visitors have also shuffled their pack, with Christian Benteke starting up front for the first time in the campaign. The Belgian international has replaced Andreas Weimann, who has dropped to the bench.
Fabian Delph is out of action for two months with a shoulder injury, but Ron Vlaar is back in the starting XI alongside Gabriel Agbonlahor, who also returns after missing out against Manchester City.
