Everton have reportedly entered talks with Deportivo La Coruna over the possibility of signing Lucas Perez.
Lucas scored 17 league goals for Deportivo last season and opened his account for the new campaign with the winning goal against Eibar on Friday.
Everton are looking to bolster their attacking options before the end of the transfer window next week, and The Telegraph reports that they could make a bid of around £15m for the 27-year-old.
New Everton director of football Steve Walsh is understood to be a fan of the striker and targeted him for Leicester City before making the switch to Goodison Park.
The Toffees are expected to offload Oumar Niasse before next Wednesday's deadline, and have started both games this season without a recognised centre-forward due to an injury to Romelu Lukaku.
