Everton are reportedly willing to make Ciro Immobile their highest-paid player in an attempt to coax the Lazio striker to Goodison Park when the transfer window reopens.
The 30-year-old is one of a number of Serie A players to have been linked with the Toffees since Carlo Ancelotti's arrival, with the Italian eager to develop the club into Champions League challengers.
Citta Celeste reports that Immobile has emerged as Everton's top transfer target, though, with the club lining up a £135,000-a-week contract for the prolific forward.
Immobile has been in fine form for Lazio this season, scoring 27 goals in just 26 league games to fire himself to the top of the European Golden Boot standings and put Lazio in contention for a first Serie A title since 2000.
In total the Italy international has directly contributed to 37 goals in just 33 games across all competitions this season, including finding the back of the net 30 times himself.
Immobile is still some way short of his 2017-18 tally of 41 goals for the season, though, while during his whole time at Lazio he has scored 116 times in just 167 outings.
