Everton boss Marco Silva has reportedly decided to loan out Mason Holgate during the January transfer window.
Holgate has made a total of 48 appearances for the Toffees in all competitions and began the season in the starting lineup due to injuries to a number of defenders.
However, the 22-year-old has not made a first-team outing since the middle of September, and the youngster now finds himself as fifth choice behind Yerry Mina, Michael Keane, Kurt Zouma and Phil Jagielka.
According to The Mirror, that has led to Silva being happy to allow Holgate to continue his development elsewhere during the second half of the campaign.
The report suggests that a number of Premier League and Championship clubs have already shown an interest in Holgate, who still has just over three-and-a-half years remaining on his contract.
