Nottingham Forest have reportedly failed with an approach for Everton forward Oumar Niasse.
While the 29-year-old has recently appeared on the Toffees substitutes' bench, Everton are happy to cash in on the Senegal international.
Despite his lack of game time, Niasse will not be short of offers from the Premier League and Championship during the closing two weeks of the January window.
However, according to Football Insider, the player has little interest in completing a move to Forest.
The report claims that Everton had been prepared to allow Niasse to make the switch to the City Ground on a loan deal.
Since costing the Merseyside outfit £13.5m in February 2016, Niasse has made just 13 starts and 27 substitute outings in all competitions, scoring nine goals.
