Everton goalkeeper Tim Howard has rejected rumours that he is considering a move to MLS following 11 years in the Premier League.
The 36-year-old USA international has been representing the Merseyside club since 2007 and plans to retire from the game when his contract expires in 2018.
Despite not having any intentions to play in his home country, the goalkeeper is pleased that former England internationals Frank Lampard and Steven Gerrard will compete in the States next season.
"The coverage MLS is getting now is incredible, with Frank and Stevie going over," The Mirror quotes Howard as saying.
"It's exciting to watch and there's a buzz about it, but I think it would be crazy to talk about leaving this club. The chairman pays me very well and it would be silly to talk about other teams."
Howard has played for the North Jersey Imperials, MetroStars and Manchester United during his career.
