Lewis Dobbin is set for a brand new contract with Everton, according to a report.

The 18-year-old striker has been able to break out throughout the 2021-22 campaign, with Rafael Benitez providing opportunities for him from the bench.

So far this season Dobbin has appeared three times off the bench, and the Toffees are keen to keep him under contract at the club for the foreseeable future.

"I think the player is quite happy and our conversations with him have been quite positive. I have confidence that he will be delighted to stay with us in the future," Benitez told the press.

The young forward last appeared during Everton's 1-1 draw against Chelsea, but he has yet to open his account for this campaign.

The Toffees are currently 14th in the table, and they will be back in action on Thursday when they face Newcastle United. body check tags ::
