Everton manager Roberto Martinez has confirmed reports that Kevin Mirallas could be on the verge of joining AS Monaco in the January transfer window.
Mirallas has made just two Premier League starts all season and is understood to be keen to leave Goodison Park in search of regular first-team football ahead of this summer's European Championship.
Monaco have recently been linked with a move for the Belgian, and Martinez revealed that he expects that switch to materialise this month.
"I'm sure there will be that trade over the window," he told reporters.
"This squad is still really large because it was prepared for European football, so there are people who haven't had enough football as they wanted. So we have to make a couple of decisions in order to benefit everyone."
Steven Naismith and Aiden McGeady have also been linked with moves away from the club this month, but Martinez insists that there has been nothing concrete for either of those players so far.
"There are no developments. I'm sure there will be a lot of rumours but there will be nothing until we announce anything," he added.
Everton next host Manchester City in the first leg of their League Cup semi-final on Wednesday evening.
