Roberto Martinez has dismissed suggestions that he will look to bring in a free agent to boost his Everton squad.
Tom Cleverley, Aaron Lennon and Gerard Deulofeu were among the players to arrive at Goodison Park in the summer transfer window, but there were reports that the Everton boss was keen to find another attacker.
However, Martinez insists that he has no intention of improving the squad until January.
"The squad is closed from our point of view and I am delighted with the numbers," the Spaniard told reporters.
"It is a very important period for us. It is now about competition until December and, as you can imagine, it is about creating a real strong competition for places, and I feel we have enough talent in the squad to face that period so clearly we are not going to be looking for any other players."
