Everton manager Roberto Martinez has revealed plans to use winger Aaron Lennon in Saturday's visit of Premier League champions Chelsea to Goodison Park.
The 28-year-old sealed a permanent move to the Toffees from Tottenham Hotspur on deadline day, having enjoyed a loan spell in the second half of last term.
However, Lennon has not played a minute of competitive action yet this season and although Martinez is cautious, the Spaniard plans to use him in some capacity when the Blues come to town.
"I'm not worried about his physical state and he needs to play games now to sharpen up his play," Martinez told the club's official website.
"He's refreshed and is in a great position. He knows the football club inside out and is desperate to get back to Goodison.
"From that point of view, I expect Aaron to be involved one way or another at the weekend."
Lennon netted twice in 12 Premier League outings for the Toffees last term.
